The Specials Ltd bring their tribute to The Specials to Roadmender in Northampton on 6 February 2027, joined by The Specials themselves in a rare role as support. With The Specials’ legacy rooted in 2 tone, new wave, reggae and rocksteady, and a catalogue that includes “A Message to You Rudy”, “(What I Like Most About You Is Your) Girlfriend”, “Protest Songs 1924–2012” and “Ghost Town (re-recorded – sped up)”, this show centres on the sound that defined the UK’s 2 tone era. Fans of ska, reggae and sharp-edged new wave will find the Roadmender date a focused celebration of that crossover tradition.
