Young Knives bring their angular art punk, art rock and electronic-leaning experimental rock to Wedgewood Rooms in Portsmouth on 14 November 2026. Active since the late nineties, the band draw on the taut post-punk edge heard across their catalogue, including material surrounding their album “Landfill”, alongside earlier work such as “Barbarians”. Their live shows channel the same off-kilter intensity and sharp songwriting that runs through their studio recordings. Main support comes from Hot Face, whose growing catalogue, including singles like “17 Day Migraine”, “Pink Liquor” and “Bumble Been”, adds a hook-driven, high-energy undercurrent to the bill.
