Sea Power bring their alternative rock, art rock and experimental rock sound to Chalk in Brighton on 22 October 2026, leading a bill that underlines their taste for immersive live shows. The band’s catalogue, recently expanded by the compilation “Lost Tracks and Rare Demos”, gives them plenty of material to draw from, spanning tense post-punk atmospheres and widescreen indie rock. Support comes from Pictish Trail, whose electronic, folk and folktronica songs introduce a contrasting, more intimate texture. It is a compact two-artist line-up, setting Sea Power’s expansive guitars against Pictish Trail’s off-kilter synths and indie pop hooks in one Brighton performance.
