Amplifier return to home territory at Manchester Academy 3 on 19 September 2026 for a gig steeped in alternative, progressive and space rock. Formed in the city in 1999, the band are known for expansive arrangements, complex drumming and Sel Balamir’s detailed guitar work, drawing on influences from heavy riffing to psychedelic textures. Their catalogue includes tracks such as “Airborne”, “Black Rainbow” and “Hologram”, alongside recent releases “TOF Sessions Vol 5”, “here. not here.” and “Back From the Dead for One Night Only”.
