The Orb and System 7 share the bill at Exeter Phoenix in Exeter on 11 December 2026, bringing a detailed sweep of ambient-rooted electronics to the venue. The Orb’s ambient, ambient dub, ambient house and ambient techno palette sets up extended, immersive passages, drawing on their long-running exploration of texture and space. System 7 balance that with their blend of ambient house and drum and bass, threading rolling beats through atmospheric synth work. Together they cover a broad electronic spectrum, from slow-blooming soundscapes to faster, rhythm-driven sections, making this show a focused meeting of two established live electronic projects.
