The Wedding Present bring their c86-rooted indie rock and post-punk sound to QMU in Glasgow on 22 October 2026. Active since the mid-80s, the band have built a catalogue that runs from early C86-era singles through to recent releases such as the 2023 project “24 Songs”, with “40” due in 2025. This QMU gig offers a chance to hear that evolution live, from jagged, fast-paced guitar rushes to more expansive indie rock. With their long history on the UK live circuit, The Wedding Present’s Glasgow performance connects decades of alternative guitar music in one show.
