Twin Atlantic
Twin Atlantic, the acclaimed alternative rock band from Glasgow, Scotland, have made a significant mark on the British live music scene since their formation in 2007. The group is fronted by Sam McTrusty and Ross McNae, with longstanding collaborator Barry McKenna often joining them for their energetic live shows. Known for their dynamic sound and engaging stage presence, Twin Atlantic have grown their reputation through a string of well-received releases, including the albums Vivarium, Free, Great Divide, GLA, Power, Transparency, and Meltdown. Their single "Heart and Soul," from Great Divide, achieved notable success, peaking at number 17 on the UK Singles Chart.
The band’s presence on the circuit remains as strong as ever. In June 2025, Twin Atlantic headlined a memorable gig at THE LEADMILL in Sheffield, supported by Dead Pony and jetski, and brought their commanding show to Concorde 2 in Brighton both for the venue’s 25th anniversary event and their own headline concert. They also appeared as a support act at Glasgow Green’s TRNSMT festival in July 2025, sharing the stage with headliner 50 Cent as well as The Script, Confidence Man, and other major names—further affirming their ability to hold their own among an impressive festival roster.
With a fresh single, "Salvation," released in May 2025 and their latest album, Meltdown, debuting in August 2024, Twin Atlantic continue to be a vital force in British rock.
