The Lathums

The Lathums are a Wigan-based group carving a distinctive path within the realms of British indie pop and indie rock. Renowned for their melodic sensibility and evocative lyricism, The Lathums continue to evolve artistically, as evidenced by a string of studio releases, including their EP Gull in the Wind (due January 2026), and their live album Live from Robin Park. Their catalogue, featuring tracks such as "Cobblestones" and "No Direction", captures the vibrancy and heartfelt energy of their songwriting, earning the band a growing reputation for combining authenticity with a fresh, dynamic sound.

The Lathums have established themselves as a vital presence on the UK live music circuit. Their recent concert at Alexandra Palace in July 2026 saw them supporting Richard Ashcroft, while their performances at Bellahouston Park alongside Kings of Leon and at venues such as Electric Studios, Engine Shed, and Asylum underscore their broad appeal and ability to captivate diverse audiences. As both compelling headliners and accomplished support acts, the band seamlessly bridges festival stages and intimate club settings, consistently drawing passionate crowds with their energetic concerts.

This November, The Lathums bring their distinct indie sound to major arenas across the country as special guests supporting Courteeners at the likes of Utilita Arena in Birmingham, Ovo Hydro in Glasgow, and Alexandra Palace in London. For fans of indie pop and indie rock eager to experience their acclaimed live performances, now is an excellent time to follow The Lathums and keep track of their latest tour dates and upcoming gigs.
