Teleost

Teleost is a doom metal duo based in Glasgow, known for their weighty approach to the genre and a sound that carves its own niche amidst the UK’s underground music scene. The group continues to shape their artistic direction with potent recordings such as “Bari”, “Canyon”, “Djinn”, “Ether”, “Life”, and “Volcano”, exemplifying the band’s atmospheric range and intensity. Their upcoming album “Atavism”, slated for release in December 2025, is set to further cement their reputation among discerning listeners drawn to immersive doom metal.

Live, Teleost has carved out their place on stages across Scotland. In April 2026, they brought their arresting sound to The Tooth & Claw in Inverness, performing at FUZZNESS Chapter IV. There, they supported headliner King Witch—a band known for their own commanding presence in the genre—alongside an eclectic roster of acts. Their ability to complement such formidable headliners speaks to their calibre as a live act within contemporary metal circuits.

Teleost’s presence on concert line-ups continues, with a slot supporting IN:TIDES at BLOC+ in Glasgow in November 2026. For fans of live music and those following tour dates within the doom metal community, Teleost offers a compelling reason to keep an eye on upcoming gigs.
