Solace

Solace, the revered American stoner metal band, have been a distinctive presence in the heavy music landscape since their formation in 1996. Known for their riff-driven sound and immersive live performances, Solace have established themselves as a force within the underground metal community. Their discography includes the critically regarded album "The Brink," released in December 2019, as well as earlier works such as "A.D." and the blistering single "Bird of Ill Omen." Tracks like "Burn," "Desert Coffin," and "Angels Dreaming" offer listeners a heady blend of sludge, doom, and classic heavy metal influences.

On the live circuit, Solace maintain a solid reputation for powerful gigs and dynamic support slots. In May 2026, they brought their formidable energy to Desertfest in London, supporting headliners Zig Zags, as well as to The Underworld for Desertfest London 2026 alongside Bismut. Their commitment to the stage was further evidenced in August 2025 at The Victoria in Birmingham, where they joined a bill headlined by Mac Wood. Fans can anticipate more crushing live music from Solace, with appearances such as their October 2026 show at The Dark Horse in Birmingham, supporting RKM, demonstrating their ongoing activity and appeal.
