Outpost Drive
Outpost Drive are a transatlantic singer-songwriter duo fusing the rich traditions of British folk and American country. Founded by Willow Robinson from England and Mary Bragg Robinson of Mobile, Alabama, the pair channel their contrasting backgrounds into a sound that is both electrified and deeply resonant. Their chemistry is unmistakable, with soaring vocals, dynamic guitar work, and lyricism inspired by journeys across continents. The duo’s artistry extends beyond the studio, capturing the rawness of their relationship and their near-monastic dedication during the two years spent creating their debut album.
Their recent single, “Small Town Living”, released in February 2024, showcases Outpost Drive’s unique blend of indie folk and singer-songwriter sensibilities. Songs such as “Go Back To Sleep” further highlight their emotional range, while their discography also includes fan favourites like “Mobile, Alabama” and “Honeymoon”. On stage, Outpost Drive delivers an explosive yet intimate live music experience, characterised by their palpable connection and compelling storytelling.
In September 2025, Outpost Drive performed at The Joiners in Southampton, appearing as the main support for First Time Flyers. The duo have previously opened for leading acts such as Myles Smith in London, and have toured alongside The Shires and First Time Flyers, building a reputation for selling out venues on both sides of the Atlantic.
