Modern Woman have carved a compelling niche within the UK’s alternative music landscape, consistently turning heads with their innovative approach and captivating live shows. Hailing from the United Kingdom, the group blends experimental textures and vivid lyricism across a series of releases, including their anticipated debut album, "Johnny’s Dreamworld", due in April 2026. Their catalogue also features tracks such as "Achtung", "Ford", and the evocative EP "Dogs Fighting In My Dream", which showcase their exploratory sonic palette.
On the live circuit, Modern Woman have brought their distinctive sound to a range of stages. In 2026, they took their headline show to Leeds’ Hyde Park Book Club and played as main support for Ms. Ezra Furman at London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town. Additionally, their presence at MOTH CLUB’s "Year Of The Horse" saw them leading the bill, while festival sets included a slot alongside headliners Scissor Sisters at the renowned Wilderness held at Cornbury Park. Their performance at Leeds’ Brudenell Social Club for IN COLOUR further cemented their reputation, supporting Gurriers and The Orielles amongst a vibrant lineup.
With a keen sense for both recorded and live music, Modern Woman’s gig calendar continues to grow, including headlining appearances in cities like Manchester, Bristol, Nottingham, Brighton, and Edinburgh. Follow Modern Woman to keep abreast of their evolving artistry and catch one of their upcoming concerts as they continue to expand their reach across the UK’s live music scene.
