Linkin Park
American rock band
Linkin Park stand as a formidable force in alternative metal and alternative rock, noted for their ability to traverse genres with a signature blend of heavy riffs, melodic sensibility, and anthemic choruses. The band’s impact has been felt globally since their emergence from the United States in 1996, consistently attracting discerning listeners and devoted followers across generations. Their discography boasts recent releases such as "Papercuts" (April 2024), "Papercuts: Instrumentals" (June 2024), and the anticipated "From Zero" album, arriving in November 2024. The single "Unshatter," set for release in April 2025, continues their tradition of evolving soundscapes and dynamic songcraft.
On the live music circuit, Linkin Park have maintained a strong presence at major UK venues and festivals. Their support appearances at Download XXIII in Donington Park in June 2026 saw them sharing the stage alongside headliners Guns N' Roses, placing their genre-defining energy in the midst of rock heavyweights. Performances at the O2 Academy Leicester supporting Drowning Pool, and club nights at The Underworld in London, have reaffirmed their resonance with audiences eager for authentic alternative rock gigs.
Looking ahead, Linkin Park are lined up as a support act for My Chemical Romance at several editions of Black Parade - The UK’s Biggest Emo Night, from September through December 2026, as well as for Green Day at EMO FEST in April 2027 at Dreamland Margate. For those seeking tour dates, concerts, and the unmistakable energy of alternative metal and rock performed live, follow Linkin Park and stay alert for news and upcoming gigs.
