KNEECAP, the acclaimed Irish hip-hop trio comprised of Mo Chara, Móglaí Bap, and DJ Próvaí, have carved out a distinctive reputation within the gangsta rap and hip hop scenes since their emergence in 2017. Famed for their sharp lyricism and undeniable stage presence, KNEECAP’s influence rises from Ireland’s vibrant underground, where their articulate rap storytelling and inventive sound have contributed to a renewed energy in contemporary Irish music.

Recent live music highlights demonstrate the group’s growing prominence on international stages. Notably, in August 2026, KNEECAP took to the helm as headliners at Boomtown in Hampshire, UK, topping a bill that included acts like SCISSOR SISTERS, Madness, and SKRILLEX. Their dynamic performances have also seen them lead the line-up at London’s Crystal Palace Park and Cork’s Live at the Marquee. The trio are equally comfortable sharing the stage in major line-up events, such as serving as a support act at Primavera Sound 2026, featuring names like Lola Young and Mac DeMarco, and performing alongside Irish legends at Ériu – The Story of Ireland’s Music at Dublin’s Ambassador Theatre in December 2026.

With a discography encompassing singles like "Liars Tale" and "Sayōnara," as well as the anticipated 2026 album "FENIAN," KNEECAP continue to push boundaries and command attention. For those with a keen ear for cutting-edge live hip hop, KNEECAP’s gigs offer a compelling experience. Be sure to follow KNEECAP and keep an eye on their tour dates to witness one of Ireland’s most vital rap acts on stage.
