I am Drug are a rock group from Barry, Wales, renowned for their psychedelic art rock sound and energetic live performances. Fusing elements of post-apocalyptic art rock with explosive noise, the band deliver what they describe as "the theatre of cruelty"—a rare sacrament amidst the modern music landscape. Their latest EP, The Crucial Fix, released in December 2022 on DMT Records, features four tracks: "The Price Of Trying", "Rock N Roll", "Tribute To Nothing", and "P.U.T.I.N.", encapsulating their raw and unfiltered approach to the genre.

Comprising Luker Koenig on buzzsaw guitar and electronics and Christian Sargent’s shamanic howls, I am Drug have cultivated a fearsome reputation across South Wales for their unpredictable and high-energy gigs. Their music channels the sonic spirit of The Stooges, The Jesus Lizard, and Joy Division, standing as a testament to unadulterated rock and roll noise.
