Guttural Slug stands as a formidable force in Denmark’s brutal death metal and slam scene. Since their formation in 2012, the band has become synonymous with unrelenting heaviness, marked by earth-shattering vocals, pulverising riffs, and a devotion to the sonics of brutality. Founded by Mikkel Sørensen and MG, the group made their mark with the cult-acclaimed debut album Megalodon in 2013, and have since continued to evolve, currently boasting a powerhouse all-Danish lineup featuring Mikkel Scott Sørensen and Jon Arent on guitars, Alexander Hall Kristensen on vocals, Jimmy Christensen on bass, and Lasse Sylvester Kristensen on drums.
