Florentenes

Florentenes are a Manchester-based indie rock band making their mark on the UK live music circuit with a confident blend of studio releases and compelling shows. Since their debut, the group have steadily grown their catalogue, with key singles such as “What It Takes”, “Miss Understands”, and “Fuel for the Flame”. Their 2025 EP “Homegrown” saw the band exploring new sonic territory, and anticipation continues to build with their latest single “Madeline”, set for release in January 2026.

Florentenes have taken their energetic sound to venues across the country, both as headliners and in support of established acts. In November 2026, the band supported The Rolling People at The Ferret, Preston, having previously headlined festivals such as Glaston Ferret at the same venue in August. Their gig history also includes a standout performance at The Wedgewood Rooms in Portsmouth for the Golden Touch event, sharing the bill with Aimee Fatale, and an electric support slot for The Rolling People at King Tut’s in Glasgow. Further back, the group brought their distinct indie spirit to Social in Hull, supporting a strong local line-up led by the Covasettes.

With a run of headline concerts scheduled in October 2026 at venues including Cluny 2 in Newcastle, The Sunflower Lounge in Birmingham, and Rough Trade in Bristol, Florentenes are poised to deliver their vibrant indie rock experience to an ever-growing audience. For those looking to discover the next essential act on the UK live music scene, now is the perfect time to follow Florentenes and keep an eye on their latest gigs and announcements.
