Flat Moon
Flat Moon play Rough Trade Liverpool with their alternative rock and Brit funk-driven funk rock sound.
Yorkshire Band
Flat Moon are a dynamic six-piece from Leeds whose fearless blend of alternative rock and Brit funk has earned them a distinct reputation in the UK’s live music scene. Their music distorts the boundaries of genre, weaving together punchy riffs, tight grooves, and saxophone textures for an unmistakably unique sound. Since forming in 2019, Flat Moon have showcased their originality through releases such as the singles “Enough”, “Hold It There”, and “Vultures”, and most notably with their much-anticipated debut album “Cookin' Up A Groove,” available on physical formats and Bandcamp.
Renowned for their high-energy concerts, Flat Moon continue to make an impact at venues and festivals across the country. In August 2026, they appeared at Humber Street Sesh at Hull Marina, joining a bill headlined by Fiona-Lee. Earlier in the year, they headlined The Fulford Arms in York as part of their debut album release tour, supported by Gents & Ginger and No Cameo. Their ability to captivate audiences both as trusted support and headline act demonstrates the band’s versatility and magnetic stage presence.
Flat Moon’s tour schedule sees them bringing their genre-blurring live show to top venues including The Deaf Institute in Manchester, Esquires in Bedford, and Rough Trade in Liverpool. As they continue to push creative boundaries, now is the perfect time to follow Flat Moon and stay informed about their latest music releases and upcoming gigs.
