Mägo de Oz

Mägo de Oz stands as one of Spain’s most influential exports in the world of celtic and celtic metal music. Since their formation in 1988, the group has forged a distinctive path, weaving together traditional Celtic motifs with the power and theatricality of heavy metal. Their explorations of myth, fantasy, and folklore have solidified Mägo de Oz as a leading name in esoteric and progressive European metal circles, amassing a fervent international following over decades of boundary-pushing creativity.

Their prolific output is a testament to their staying power and relevance. Recent releases reflect both continuity and evolution: 2024’s “Alicia en el Metalverso” and the highly anticipated “Malicia: La noche de las brujas,” scheduled for release in October 2025, showcase Mägo de Oz’s relentless ambition and mastery of their genre. Each album demonstrates innovative arrangements and storytelling, resonating deeply with fans of live music, niche metal, and intricately layered sound worlds.

Concertgoers in the United Kingdom will have the chance to experience Mägo de Oz’s powerful live show as headliners at London’s Electric Ballroom in January 2027.
