Wrath
Norwegian prog metal / folk grunge band
Wrath are a Norwegian prog metal and folk grunge band whose sound fuses primal emotion with elements of folklore, offering a raw and untamed musical experience. Since forming in 2019, the group have steadily developed a reputation for evocative songwriting and atmospheric arrangements, drawing from the wild landscapes of their homeland to influence both their music and lyrical themes.
Demonstrating their dynamic live presence, Wrath recently performed in Bristol at The Golden Lion as a support act for the Row of Ashes album launch in August 2025. Their set underscored the band’s unique approach to live music and their ability to captivate audiences alongside acts such as the grey and OPIUM LORD. Wrath's evolving catalogue includes striking singles like "The Glade" (released November 2024), "Blóð máni," and the self-titled "Wrath," as well as the album "Bare Live" from August 2024. Their latest music video for "The Glade" was filmed in the forests and mountains of Fana and Oslomarka, further emphasising the band’s deep connection to nature and Norwegian heritage.
For listeners drawn to innovative Norwegian metal and immersive concert experiences, Wrath continue to shape their sound and stagecraft in compelling ways. Be sure to follow Wrath for news on upcoming gigs and to stay updated with their latest music and tour dates.
