Dàimh, regarded as a Gaelic supergroup and celebrated champions of Highland music, are rooted in West Lochaber and the Isle of Skye. With a name derived from the Gaelic word for “kinship,” Dàimh (pronounced Dive) have crafted a formidable reputation in the world of live music, infusing traditional Scottish sounds with contemporary energy. Their lineup features the melodic prowess of Angus Mackenzie and Gabe McVarish, the rhythmic foundation of Ross Martin, the versatile talents of Murdo “Yogi” Cameron, and striking vocals from Ellen MacDonald, a rapidly rising star in Gaelic music.

Their artistry has not gone unnoticed, earning accolades such as “Folk Band of the Year” at the Scots Trad Music Awards and “Best Folk Band in Europe” at Germany’s Folkherbst competition.
