Mildred

Mildred stands out as a distinctive figure in the contemporary lo-fi scene, specialising in a nuanced blend of boom bap and chillwave. With a growing catalogue of singles including “lucent”, “lunar eclipse”, and the forthcoming “Fish Sticks” set for release in February 2026, Mildred’s textured production and understated approach continue to resonate with aficionados of esoteric, mood-driven beats. His EPs, such as “A Moment Away” and “Evergreen”, further highlight a dedicated craft that bridges nostalgic rhythms with mellow, immersive atmospheres.

The live music presence of Mildred reflects both versatility and growing acclaim. In July 2026, Mildred brought his genre-defying sound to O’Rileys in Hull, appearing as a support act for ONLY THE RIGHTEOUS at METAL BIRTHDAY BASH '26—a testament to his ability to cross over into diverse lineups and captivate open-minded audiences. Gigs such as these offer fans a rare chance to experience the dynamic textures of his recordings in a live concert setting.

For those seeking to immerse themselves in Mildred’s singular fusion of chillwave and boom bap, several headline shows are lined up at The Cardigan Arms in Leeds in November 2026. Stay connected with Mildred for the latest releases, tour dates, and announcements, and be sure to catch his upcoming gigs to witness an artist forging his own path in live electronic music.
