Buffalo Traffic Jam, a folk group founded in Bozeman, Montana by Frankie Cassidy and Nathan Ross, channel the spirit of wide-open landscapes through their evocative songwriting and acoustic arrangements. Their music, steeped in storytelling tradition yet delivered with contemporary emotional resonance, stands out for its rich harmonies, stripped instrumentation, and unforgettable vocals. Since their self-titled debut EP, the band has steadily built a loyal following, notably gaining momentum with the heartfelt single “Forgot Your Roots,” which led to a signing with Arista Records.

The band’s discography continues to grow, with releases including the “Buffalo Traffic Jam” EP, “Fool’s Gold,” “Take Me Home,” and “Hanging on Hope.” In June 2026, Buffalo Traffic Jam took centre stage as headliners on their Take Me Home Tour across UK venues such as Electric Ballroom in London and Academy 2 in Manchester. They have also supported major acts, gracing the State Fayre Festival at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, sharing the bill with acclaimed names like The Lumineers and Counting Crows. Their atmospheric approach to live music and emotionally charged concerts resonate in every performance, blending folk roots with a modern edge.

Looking ahead to April 2027, Buffalo Traffic Jam will headline shows at iconic venues including O2 Forum Kentish Town in London and Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow, as well as National Stadium in Dublin. For fans of authentic folk and vivid storytelling, Buffalo Traffic Jam’s gigs offer a moving and memorable experience.
