Bradley Taylor stands at the forefront of contemporary British poetry, acclaimed for his evocative voice and insightful performance style. Hailing from Birmingham, Taylor has made significant waves in the live poetry landscape, earning the prestigious title at the 2024 Roundhouse Poetry Slam, the largest poetry slam event in history. His debut collection, ‘You Missed The Best Part’, released in 2025, marked a pivotal moment in his career and paved the way for a nationwide tour, highlighting his keen ability to connect with audiences through both the written and spoken word.

Taylor is not only a celebrated poet but also serves as the host and curator of Piece of Work, Birmingham’s pre-eminent poetry night at the Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery. His compelling performances have been featured at renowned literary events such as the Hay Festival and Cheltenham Literature Festival, and his words have reached wider audiences via appearances on BBC News and BBC Radio 6 Music, where Craig Charles named him amongst the ‘Class of 2024’. His poetry has graced the pages of respected publications including Gutter Magazine, Shooter, and Strix, as well as public spaces throughout Birmingham, notably through collaborations with Birmingham Hippodrome and photographer Paul Stringer.

In December 2026, Bradley Taylor will be supporting headliners Big Special at Chalk in Brighton and THE CRAUFURD ARMS in Milton Keynes, sharing the stage as a prominent support act alongside The Joy Hotel. With a Sky Arts award nomination for his Roundhouse performance and a recent commission for Steven Knight, creator of Peaky Blinders, Taylor’s trajectory continues to impress.
