Unto Others, the gothic metal outfit from Portland, Oregon, have steadily earned recognition for their distinctive fusion of gothic rock, heavy metal, and old-school post-punk influences. Emerging in 2017 from the vision of Gabriel Franco, the band quickly resonated with fans of atmospheric and hard-hitting music, drawing comparisons to dark luminaries such as Type O Negative and The Sisters of Mercy. Critical acclaim followed their debut EP and album, with the group’s catalogue evolving to include lauded works like “Mana” and the 2021 release “Strength.”

The band's latest era has seen them partner with Century Media, working with noted producer Tom Dalgety to craft their third full-length album, “Never, Neverland,” which arrived in September 2024. Recent singles such as “Butterfly,” “Raigeki 雷撃,” and “Angel of the Night” demonstrate Unto Others’ commitment to deepening their sound, while their forthcoming EP “I Believe in Halloween II” is slated for release in October 2025, offering a blend of new material and inventive covers.

Keen followers of the live music circuit should note that Unto Others continue to tour actively, having secured support slots beneath headliner Amorphis for two major UK concerts as part of the “Amorphis Borderland Tour 2027” at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in London and the O2 Ritz in Manchester.
