Hailing from Northern Ireland, Ash have long been a vital force in alternative rock and Britpop, earning their place as influential standard-bearers for UK guitar music. Formed in 1989 by Tim Wheeler and Mark Hamilton, the band has built a celebrated catalogue that reflects both enduring creativity and an enduring commitment to melodic, high-energy songwriting. Their discography includes pivotal albums such as "Race the Night", "Kablammo!", and the lauded retrospective "Teenage Wildlife: 25 Years of Ash."

Ash’s commitment to live music remains as strong as ever. Recent concerts have seen them headline venues across the UK, including acclaimed nights at The Welly in Hull, The Sugarmill in Stoke-on-Trent, and Grand Central Dome in Liverpool during the AD ASTRA TOUR. At the RADIO X ON THE BEACH event on Brighton Beach in July 2026, Ash took the stage as a main support to headliner The Maccabees, sharing the bill with acts like Editors and Anna Calvi. These appearances underline their enduring appeal and their reputation for delivering exhilarating, guitar-driven gigs that bridge the nostalgia of classic Britpop with contemporary alternative sounds.

Looking towards December 2026, Ash are set to headline a series of concerts as part of their highly anticipated “1977 30th Anniversary Tour”, gracing iconic venues such as O2 Institute Birmingham, Barrowland Ballroom Glasgow, and 3Olympia Theatre Dublin. For fans eager to experience their anthemic tracks in a live setting, and for those who follow the pulse of UK alternative rock, there’s no better time to keep up with Ash. Follow the band and check their tour dates to catch their upcoming shows and be part of their ever-evolving journey.
