Shallowater

Shallowater has been carving out a distinctive niche in the US slowcore scene since their formation in 2022. Characterised by an atmospheric and introspective approach to songcraft, the group stands out with their evocative soundscapes and emotionally nuanced songwriting. Their catalogue includes the reflective album "There Is a Well" released in December 2023, and fans of the genre can anticipate the full-length "God’s Gonna Give You a Million Dollars" set for release in September 2025, followed by the single "From My Wings" in December 2025. Notable tracks such as "Ativan," "God’s Gonna Give You a Million Dollars," and "(Untitled) Cowboy" capture their ability to balance minimalism with intensity.

Shallowater’s reputation as a live act continues to grow. September 2026 will see them headlining at YES (The Basement) in Manchester and taking top billing at the Brudenell Social Club in Leeds, with support from TWINE. These headline concerts underscore their rising influence within the slowcore community and offer audiences in the UK a rare opportunity to experience their contemplative sound in person.

For those intrigued by Shallowater’s immersive take on slowcore and eager to witness their artistry on stage, now is the perfect time to follow the band and keep an eye out for the latest tour dates and upcoming gigs.
