Cinder Well

Cinder Well is a leading light in the dark folk genre, crafting a distinctive sound that bridges transatlantic traditions with haunting, modern resonance. Based in Los Angeles, Cinder Well has become synonymous with innovation within folk circles, often exploring the fertile intersection of lineage and contemporary experimentation. Her artistry is evident across a discography that spans from the introspective debut album released in 2015, through to evocative works like “No Summer” and the atmospheric “Cadence” in 2023.

In July 2026, Cinder Well unveils her much-anticipated album “A Blooming Body”, further cementing her role at the vanguard of folk music’s evolution. This release follows the single “The Wise Man’s Song (Original Theme from Small Prophets)” and a compelling collection of previous albums and EPs. Each record delves deep into the emotive strength of dark folk, with Cinder Well’s voice and songwriting continually pushing boundaries while honouring tradition.

Looking ahead to October 2026, Cinder Well is set to headline at the Brudenell Social Club in Leeds, highlighting her continued presence on the live music circuit and offering audiences the chance to experience her captivating concerts first-hand.
