Nylon

Nylon, the hard-house project helmed by UK artists Steve Hill and Mick Shiner, has long held a distinctive place in the country’s electronic music scene. Celebrated for their energetic productions, Nylon captured attention with their single "If You Love Me," released in 1999—a track that has since spawned multiple remixes and club edits, underscoring their influence in the genre. Their catalogue also features standouts such as "Close Your Eyes" and "Dream as One," both of which exemplify their high-octane, dancefloor-driven style.

Live music aficionados may have caught Nylon supporting The Kid Caprice at Exchange in Bristol in November 2025, a testament to their ongoing relevance and capacity to deliver compelling sets alongside notable names in contemporary electronic music. Their gigs highlight not only their own prowess but also their alignment with fellow innovators in the hard-house landscape, keeping fans and newcomers energised with every performance.

For those keen to experience Nylon live, the group is billed as a support act at NEW CROSS INN, London, in November 2026, sharing the concert lineup with headliners THE S.E.T. and performers such as PERP WALK and HEADSTONE. Stay tuned for more tour dates and upcoming shows—be sure to follow Nylon to keep abreast of their latest gigs and hard-house releases.
