The Maisonettes

The Maisonettes are a riot grrrl band hailing from Exeter, carving out a distinct presence within the UK live music circuit. Since their formation in early 2021, the group has become known for their compelling performances and alignment with the energetic, feminist punk ethos at the core of the riot grrrl movement. Their roots in Exeter place them firmly in the rich tradition of British underground music, where bold expression and sharp attitudes are celebrated.

In November 2025, The Maisonettes took the stage at Cavern in Liverpool, performing as a support act for headliners SILK CUTS. This live show demonstrated their ability to hold their own alongside established acts within the scene, reaffirming their reputation for powerful stage presence and dynamic energy. Their commitment to live gigs and touring has allowed them to steadily build a following among discerning audiences seeking authentic punk experiences.

Looking ahead, The Maisonettes are set to perform at THE CAVERN in Exeter in November 2026, where they will share the bill with headliners SAVAK and fellow support act SINEWS. For fans eager to immerse themselves in the raw spirit of riot grrrl and catch standout concerts, following The Maisonettes and keeping up with their gig announcements is essential.
