米津玄師

米津玄師 (Kenshi Yonezu) stands as a singular force in contemporary Japanese music, blending alternative rock and contemporary R&B into a distinctive and ever-evolving sound. Since his emergence, Yonezu has captivated listeners not only with his emotive songwriting and unique vocal style but also through his multifaceted artistry—encompassing composition, illustration, and animation. His discography showcases a commitment to artistic innovation, with standout releases such as the acclaimed album “STRAY SHEEP” and more recent works including “LOST CORNER” (2024) and the single “LADY” (2023).

Yonezu’s genre-defying approach has resulted in powerful tracks like “KICK BACK,” “POP SONG,” and the widely celebrated “Pale Blue.” His music often intersects with visual media, contributing theme songs to films and television, further amplifying his influence within Japan’s pop culture landscape. In July 2026, he will digitally release "夜鷹" (“Yotaka”), written as the theme for the film “キングダム 魂の決戦,” underscoring his ongoing role at the crossroads of music and cinema.

米津玄師’s live performances are eagerly anticipated, and fans in the United Kingdom can look forward to witnessing his artistry at The O2 in London in February 2027 as part of the KENSHI YONEZU 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR GHOST.
